[gmx-developers] regd. fio_close and fio_open functions

Hi,
   I'd like to know if it is possible to rename the fio_close and fio_open functions defined in gmxfio.c . The reason Ineed to do this is that while trying to link the c object files created with PGI fortran I get the error that there are multiple definitions for these two functions one in libgmx_d.a and other in libpgftnrtl.a(in fortran library).
    I tried by changing the fio_open and close functions names and calls in :
gmxfio.c
trxio.c
xtcio.c
tpxio.c
enxio.c
trnio.c
   THOUGH successfully linked the code with fortran libraries. the outpu from grompp was a DEATH HORROR ERROR and mdrun was segmentation fault.
    Could anyone tell me a work around through this?
