[gmx-developers] How to use TAU to profile GMX?

Hi GMX developers,

I want to use TAU to profile GMX, but I can used it's script to compile GMX.
I first run cmake ..
and then I use ccmake to change C compiler to 
/tau/installation/path/x86_64/bin/tau_cc.sh and CXX compiler to 
/tau/installation/path/x86_64/bin/tau_cxx.sh.
After I press C, cmake starts to configure, but it is stuck at 
"Configuring 18%".

Does anyone have experience in profiling GMX before? How can I make TAU 
work? Or what profiling tools can work with GMX?

I'd appreciate your help.
