Dear Gromacs developers,
I am trying to hack Gromacs to include a new potential function. Since I
modified the topology, I think I need to increase the tpx_version number.
According to the comment in the tpxio.c file, it is said that "The
tpx_version number should be increased whenever the file format in the main
development branch changes, generally to the highest value present in tpxv.
Backward compatibility for reading old run input files is maintained by
checking this version number against
that of the file and then using the correct code path. "
What is the highest value of tpxv? Can anyone please explain a little bit
more about the tpx_version number?
Sorry if my question is nonsense since I am completely novice.
I am looking for ward to hearing from you.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
