Hi,

I thought it would be a good time to upgrade our installed version of MSVC
to 2017, for all the improvements and the option to consider requiring
C++14. Obviously (sic) that installation installs a new linker that is
global, and breaks the old installation of MSVC 2015. Hopefully I'll be
able to fix it soon - there's a few leads if you Google around.
