[gmx-developers] redmine checklist plugin

Hi,

We've had a redmine checklist plugin for lightweight subtasks within an
issue for a year or so. After it was installed however it quickly turned
out that it does not save state changes in the redmine issue history which
is rather inconvenient. I just wanted to file a bug report, but just
realized however that this is a _feature_ not a bug, the free version of
the plugin is more like a trial version and one has to pay for the "PRO"
version to get the "feature" that allows saving the changes (see
https://www.redmineup.com/pages/plugins/checklists).

While the plugin has been used lightly in the past year or so, we have
decided recently to stop using it -- and now that we know that this
limitation is not going to be "fixed" (and we're unlikely to want to pay
for it), I think that decision is even more justified.

Unless there are alternatives, we'll just use bullet points with manual
strike-through formatting to indicate "done" state.

Cheers,
