[gmx-developers] gmx-developer mailing - update and future

Dear all,

A quick update: unfortunately gmx-developer is still under spam attack.
That makes it impossible for me (as admin) to distinguish between junk and
not-junk subscriptions, and for interested members to enroll and to
participate.

Future of developer mailing list:
 While I still hope for a solution to this technical problem, this is a
good occasion to think about alternative solutions  to communicate/to
discuss with and among developers.
Options:
- mailing-list like gmx-developer
- a reserve category under discourse emulating the mailing-list setting,
where only member can post, accessible via email and via the web interface
(visible to everybody or only the members)
- chat type channel
- or other suggestions/ideas

Paul kindly agrees to present the topic on Wednesday. It will be good to
know what are the thoughts about this.
