Hi,

I've released revision 3.1.2. This fixes the problems where the 
Tru64/Digital Unix compiler didn't accept ansi C, and I included the 
muliple backup generations from the head branch.

The code also compiles under MS Windows now - either under Cygwin or 
natively with Visual Studio. I've put a native windows installer package 
on the binaries page. Cygwin is trivial, but check out the developer FAQ 
if you want to compile with visual studio.
