Erik and David,

Thank you for your replies on the problems I had with the beta 3 on the 
G3. I am sorry for the very late reply but I changed the hard disk and I had 
to backup/restore everything. After that, I installed directly the 3.1.1 and it 
works fine on both G3 and G4.
