No, no! It is not possible. Without cpp you cannot compile!
So, if you have compiled gromacs, cpp must be somewhere on your system,
e.g. /usr/local/lib/cpp, or /usr/local/bin/cpp. If all else fails, you
could try 'find / -name cpp' to search all your harddisks for 'cpp'.
