Hi, I am trying to compile the gromacs 3.2 on i686-pc-linux-gnu with 
static fftw libraries. No matter if I put --enable-static after 
configure, the binaries all give me an error: error while loading 
shared libraries: libsrfftw.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No 
such file or directory. As a matter of fact the two binaries have the 
same length which makes me doubt if the --enable-static is useful at 
all.
