[gmx-users] error building fftw on itanium, intel 7 compilers

Hi

I trying to build fftw-2.1.5 on an altix (itanium) with intel 7 compilers however at the make install stage of the build (with options --enable-type-prefix --enable-float --enable-mpi --prefix=$dir) I get the error:

.deps/fftw_mpi_test.Po:45: *** missing separator.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/users/msrcbk/fftw-2.1.5/mpi'
make: *** [recursive] Error 1

Has anyone else encountered such an error, and does anyone have any ideas as how to fix it?!
