[gmx-users] gromac on FC4 x86_64

    I built rpms for gromacs 3.2.1 on Fedora Core 4 x86_64 last night
and ran some test md runs on a dual model 250 opteron Sun workstation.
While nbench suggests this machine is 15-20% faster in floating point
than the dual 3.06 GHz Xeon (FC2) that I have been running, the pr.log
shows about 20% lower Gflops for the opteron. Is the build on x86_64
not as optimized as on i686? Thanks in advance for any hints on
improving performance on the opteron.
