[gmx-users] compiling error after modification source code

Dear all,
   
  i made some modification of the source code in:  /src/mdlib/update.c 
  when i compiled the gromacs, an error appeared :
   
  update.c: In function `update':
update.c:641: parse error before '[' token
make[3]: *** [update.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/work/gromacs-3.2.1/src/mdlib'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/work/gromacs-3.2.1/src'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/work/gromacs-3.2.1/src'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
   
  Anyone can help me with this error message ??
