[gmx-users] Theory about steepest descent and conjugate gradient.

Please, somebody would know to indicate me some good
references about minimization methods: steepest
descent and conjugate gradient?
My main interest is understanding why when the system
is far away of minimum local the method more efficient
is SD, and when it is near of minimum this method
becomes slow and then the CG is better. Thanx!
