I am building fftw 3.0.1 with intel compilers 3.1.038 on opensuse 11
(Intel Core Quadro). I`ve set:

export CC=path to icc
export F77=path to ifort
export LINKER=path to ifort
./configure --enable-float

1/ Configure script reported two strange things. First one:
configure: WARNING: limits.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: limits.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: limits.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to bug-autoconf at gnu.org. ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##

I`ve already submitted a bug report since no solution was found on the
web. Does anybody had the same thing?

2/ checking whether we are using the GNU Fortran 77 compiler... no
checking whether /opt/intel/fce/10.1.015/bin/ifort accepts -g... yes
checking how to get verbose linking output
from /opt/intel/fce/10.1.015/bin/ifort... -v
checking for Fortran 77 libraries... -lm" -L/usr -limf -lm
-L/opt/intel/fce/10.1.015/lib -L/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.3/
-L/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.3/../../../../lib64 -lifport
-lifcore -lsvml -lipgo -lirc -lgcc_s -lirc_s -ldl
checking for dummy main to link with Fortran 77 libraries... unknown
configure: WARNING: *** Couldn't figure out how to link C and Fortran;
switching to --disable-fortran.

What am I doing wrong with fortran?

3/ Make ended with an error:

icc: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option
timer.c(89): catastrophic error: #error directive: "timer not defined"
  #error "timer not defined"

compilation aborted for timer.c (code 4)
make[2]: *** [timer.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/sda/Program_files/gromacs/fftw-3.0.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Do you know what this is?

I appreciate your help!
