[gmx-users] RE: mdrun failing with error message "reading tpx file (em.tpr) version 40 with version 31 program"

I have to clarify that the .top file was created on a MacPro with GROMACS 3.3.3. package installed. The file then was transfered into Linux platform. It also has GROMACS 3.3.3.
Grompp runs fine, but as soon as I tried to run md simulations, I got the error message "reading tpx file (em.tpr) version 40 with version 31 program".


So the file was created on the same version but on different platforms.
I don't know where the problem is. Could the versions be incompatible?
