What was exactly the problem? Whatever it was, the proposed patch
isn't correct: copyrite.c is a source file, and nothing is done to it
during the build process, so dependencies for it are close to
pointless. version.h really is a dependency of the object file, not
the source file! Perhaps what was meant was a dependency like
"copyrite.$(OBJEXT): version.h" (perhaps $(OBJEXT) is not o in your
build), or maybe "BUILT_SOURCES: version.h"?
