[gmx-developers] upcoming releases (4.5.7 and 4.6.2)

Hi devs,

The time has come for some more releases. According to previous discussion
here, the procedure will be that I announce some times and whatever's been
merged into the repo by that time will ship. Generally, only a known
critical bug fix will delay that.

For 4.5.7, I will package and release on Friday morning April 19 Stockholm
time. There are only a handful of patches under consideration (
https://gerrit.gromacs.org/#/q/status:open+branch:release-4-5-patches,n,z)
- I hope they all get reviewed in time. This might be the last 4.5.x
release.

For 4.6.2, I will package and release on Friday morning April 26 Stockholm
time. There's a wide range of things still in progress. Nothing I can see
there is guaranteed to make 4.6.2, except a merge patch from 4.5.7. If
there's stuff that's important to you, it's time to use your social
engineering as well as software engineering skills ;-) Do get in touch if
you're not sure who might make good reviewers, but do bear in mind that as
far as code review goes, we love it but everyone's a volunteer. The odds of
your patch getting in will be higher if you've been participating in review
of others' patches! ;-)
