[gmx-developers] Developing GROMACS on Mac OSX question

Hi,

The latest valgrind (3.10) is needed on recent Mac OS, which was an issue
we have solved for the Mac build slave. See also
http://valgrind.org/docs/manual/dist.news.html. No idea if gdb has proper
support, but with Apple having moved away from gcc some time ago, one could
expect free software tools to get progressively less love on that platform.
Apple's done a lot of the work to get OpenMP into clang, but it's still
living in a forked branch...
