[gmx-developers] FW: hi-res peregrine for logo

A bit late to the game, but I agree with many of the above said:

- Compact is important, probably two versions would be more
advantageous: one compact when there are space-restrictions and one
that's more airy for front pages, backgrounds, etc.

- Has a professional designed been ruled out? I think there is value
in getting a couple of well-made logo designs if funding allows.
Alternatively a gmx-users-based design contest could work, but a
reward will likely be necessary.

- I personally prefer the version similar to Carsten's C/D with
"GROMACS" is written on the bottom (there's the most horizontal
space), but I'm not sure about the arrangement of the "fast, flexible,
free", with too much emty space on the top left the logo, looks very
imbalanced. Additionally, while for the manual from page a "GROMACS"
with serif font looks decent, for a logo a nice sans font (and
preferably not something every second flyer uses) would be much
better.
