[gmx-developers] Gerrit upgrade

Hi,

Thanks, Roland.

Background: many of you have been using Google OpenID for authentication on
Gerrit and Jenkins. That service was deprecated by Google many months ago,
and will stop this month. Gerrit devs only recently made a release that
provides a way to smoothly support similar identification based on a Google
service. So, now that Roland's deployed that, those of you affected can now
choose the Google OAuth2 and carry on as before. Other OpenID providers you
might be using are not affected. You can also now use Github OAuth2 if that
suits you.
