pymol is quite good for high-quality interactive visualisation.
It can also handle movies/animations as it can read multi-frame nmr-style
pdb files (as e.g. written by trjconv or any other gmx tool).
The only thing is that it's quite RAM demanding, so for large systems
and/or many frames in complex representations you'd better have
plenty of RAM available.
