Sorry for breaking in, but the standard gromacs cmdline parsing and IO
routines handle that transparently, so that when reading 'pull-1.pdo',
if that file doesn't exist, it will search for 'pull-1.pdo.gz', unzip
and read that instead. Perhaps the author of g_wham could look into this?
