[gmx-users] "Make Install" hold-up

I compiled GROMACS on a UNIX machine, with the "lib" and "include" directories in my home directory. It compiled fine. But, when I enter "make install," it turns out I don't have permission to write to /usr/local/ on the machine. Is there a way to not use that directory for the files that need to be installed? Or am I just going to have to get permissions from the admin?

Yay for being a newbie (sarcastic),
Mike Clark
