[gmx-users] Version error running mdrun

Hello again!

I looks like an spammer, but I'm not! XDD I simply found different answers
and questions in 5 minute steps.

Looking at the code that gave me the message I've found this comment:
/* NEW! XDR tpb file */

And then I remembered than when I ran ./configure I got this:
	checking rpc/rpc.h usability... no
	checking rpc/rpc.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: rpc/rpc.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: rpc/rpc.h: check for missing prerequisite
headers?
configure: WARNING: rpc/rpc.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's
result
	configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to bug-autoconf at gnu.org. ##
	configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
	checking for rpc/rpc.h... yes
	checking for rpc/xdr.h... no
checking for xdr_float in -lnsl... yes
configure: WARNING: Couldn't find XDR headers and/or libraries -
using our own

So maybe the two problems are related. Anyone had problems with the XDR
and/or the RPCs?

Thanks a lot to all of you! :-)

Very weird. Try using a tpb file. (grompp -o file.tpb)

I suspect a problem in compilation however. What optimization did you use?
Maybe lwoer optimzation would help

Please report back to the list.
