That's hard to tell. The athlon problem used to surface on hot
processors and very infrequently only, it typically was not
reproducible. You may also encounter problems with 3.1.4 that the new
index format (used for deshuffling) is not supported. If it works in
3.2.1 there is probably no reason to downgrade the gromacs version.
