[gmx-users] Issue in configure of LAM in Cygwin

Dear gmxions,
      I recently installed GROMACS in cygwin without MPI option. Later
      for installing MPI for gromacs, I tried to install LAM-7.0.6 as
      recommanded by GROMACS in webpage. The issue is when I try to run
      ./configure command it goes on configuring fine until the stage of
      following outputs, 
#############################################################################################
checking if threads have different pids (pthreads on linux)... no
checking for pthread_atfork... yes
checking for FD_SETSIZE... using system defaults
checking BSD 4.3 for msg_accrights in struct msghdr... yes
checking BSD 4.3 fd passing example...
##############################################################################################

Later this stage , the program prolongs and I waited for 2 hours but it
never seems to be finishing...then I tried to suspend using Ctr+C  no
effect then killed the cygwin windows.

The same thing I tried many times but the result was the same......

And I even tried to configure the latest version of LAM-7.1.1 but the
resulted in the same problem.

Kindly suggest me what could be wrong....
