hi friends,
I am installing GMX on a 2xdual core opteron processor system running on linux 10.0

I install lam by disabling the fortran as
./configure -without-fc
make
make install
I configure fftw
./configure --enable-floats --enable-mpi
make
make install
distclean
./configure --enable-mpi
make
make install

but during the installation of binutils2.16.1 I get the following output message. I am not sure whether to go forward or not with the gromacs installation.

linux:/usr/local/binutils-2.16.1 # ./configure
