[gmx-users] Need basic install help please

Type "which mdrun".

That should return to tell you if that script is within your path.

If it returns that it isn't, then you need to find where GROMACS was
installed.

Did you do the standard GROMACS installation?  Or did you specify your
own directories / locations to install it?
