[gmx-users] Bootstrap error

Dear All
I am new to Gromacs and i am trying to install it in Ubuntu. I am getting following error while using the command ./configure in cmake step. 

C compiler on this system is: cc
Error when bootsratpping CMake:
Cannot find appropriate C++ compiler on this system.
Please specify one using environment varaible CXX.
See cmake_bootsrap.log for compilers attempted
Log of Errors: /home/user/Downloads/Cmake-3.2.1/Bootstrap.cmk/cmake_bootstrap.log
