"Readable" is a bit vague. What are you trying to do? There are various GROMACS 
utilities that will already print out the content of the .trr itself, like gmx 
dump, gmx traj, etc, as well as a GROMACS library for reading/writing .xtc, 
.edr, and .trr files:
