[gmx-users] make test gives errors in G2016

Hello,

I have not had this issue before with GROMACS 5.1.2. I installed 2016 last
night and everything was going without a hitch until make test.

I used:
cmake.. -DGMX_BUILD_OWN_FFTW=ON -DREGRESSIONTEST_DOWNLOAD=ON -DGMX_GPU=on
DGMX_USE_OPENCL=on

I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, cmake 3.6.0, fftw 3.3.4, and am using a Radeon R9
Nano for OpenCL (all packages are installed correctly to my knowledge-
again, GROMACS 5.1.2 has installed well on same machine and with same cmake
and fftw versions.

Here is test fail output (at end of make test):

74% tests passed, 7 tests failed out of 27

Label Time Summary:

IntegrationTest       =  26.64 sec (2 tests)
MpiIntegrationTest    =   3.24 sec (1 test)
UnitTest              = 10500.84 sec (18 tests)

Total Test time (real) = 10869.44 sec

      1 - TestUtilsUnitTests (Timeout)
      7 - OnlineHelpUnitTests (Timeout)
      8 - OptionsUnitTests (Timeout)
      9 - RandomUnitTests (Timeout)
     17 - AnalysisDataUnitTests (Timeout)
     18 - SelectionUnitTests (Timeout)
     19 - TrajectoryAnalysisUnitTests (Timeout)
Errors while running CTest
make[3]: *** [CMakeFiles/run-ctest] Error 8
make[2]: *** [CMakeFiles/run-ctest.dir/all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/check.dir/rule] Error 2
make: *** [check] Error 2

I could use some input from the GROMACS community in figuring out what went
wrong with the installation. I hope I have provided enough info to help
diagnose the issue. Also, glad to see gromacs.org is up and running once
more!
