[gmx-users] PhD position available in Lyon (France)

dear all,

one position for a PhD student in Computational Biophysics is available in
my lab (CNRS / University of Lyon) starting from October 2018 (3 years
funding).
The research project is on the biogenesis of lipid droplets, the organelles
regulating the energy balance in cells. The project is in collaboration
with an experimental group (A.R. Thiam, ENS - Paris), and involves
molecular dynamics simulations at different levels (all-atoms,
coarse-grained). The host lab offers state of the art computational
resources and access to massive supercomputing facilities.
Outstanding candidates with a strong background in (bio)physics, physical
chemistry or bioinformatics are preferred. Experience in computational
methods and/or membrane biophysics will be considered as a plus. Working
knowledge of the English language (written and oral) is a requirement.
