[gmx-developers] compiling from tarball on ubuntu

Hi,

Are these all 32bit systems you are talking about? I didn't have the time to
try to reproduce your crashes on 32bit yet, but if what you are experiencing
is all happening (and reproducible) on 32bit, this should really be sorted
out. However, as the heap of information-fragments the previous mails
provide is quite confusing, I'd like to ask you to provide a _concise_, but
_detailed enough_ summary of which OS/gcc/glibc combination(s) fails for
you. This is my list:
