Hi again,

A few quick notes on using redmine. Have a look at the wiki at
http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Guide provides information
about the general usage.

Redmine supports multiple projects and multiple "roles" of the
registered users. Currently we have 4:

- anonymous, who can view posted information, repositories etc.

- registered users who can post in the forums and submit issues (bugs)
in _any_ public project even if they are not its members

- developers - can do almost everything with the project except for
moderating other members' activities

- managers - well, they can do it all.

Any registered user can start his own project and will automatically
become its manager.

Managers can make the project private and then only members can view the
content. For the rest it won't even show in the top level list.

Users can be added as developers by the managers so if you'd like to
join a project send a mail to one of them or to admin at gromacs.org with a
request.

That's for now we'll be adding info gradually,

Cheers,
Rossen
