[gmx-users] About RPM files

Hi People, amazing GROMACS.

I've downloaded GMX for linux/X86,  and installed the rpm packages.  My
system is a cluster with four machines running Mandrake 8.0 in a Athlon
1GHz with Codine architecture (100Mbits Ethernet).  

-First question, the RPM files are optimised yet to my Athlon processor?  
Would I better compile again GMX to my system?

-Has anyone runned GMX in a Codine parallel architecture with MPI?
