[gmx-users] install problem

Dear Sir:
  As you said, i configure the gromacs3.1 without option --enable-mpi,it tells: checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables.
  Then i type "which mpicc", it tells "mpicc not in /usr/sbin /usr/bsd /sbin /usr/bin /usr/bin/X11". It seems that mpicc is not in my path. I was only allowed to install gromacs in my path, which is /sjtu2/users/amay1975/cxm. So how can i do with it?
